In a separate statement, the PM said the unopposed election of Raza Rabbani will strengthen the roots of democracy in the country. Mr. Sharif added that Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-) believes in politics of reconciliation and dialogue.
He also congratulated all the newly elected senators. While Speaker National Assembly Ayyaz Sadiq and Deputy Speaker Murtaza Javed Abbasi also congratulated newly Rabbani and Haideri.
All the opposing parties are in somewhat power but PTI still feels a loaf on national level politics; while in KPK it is in power. The other parties has joined hands with ruling party and now all opposition has some worthwhile positions in national politics. It may also be ruling party’s policy to tackle InsaPhobia and to keep its opposition aside by joining hands with all other parties except Muslim League Q and PTI.
It is considered the strength of democracy that they agreed on Senator Raza Rabbani’s name and he was chosen without any competitor.
