Shah Rukh and Kajol to mesmerize Pakistani fans on Hum TV show

Indian Cinema has been very famous in Pakistan from years and while they do a lot for promoting their movies, we can see a very new trend here in Pakistan as well.

Since Ranbir and Deepika starred Bollywood hit Tamasha had been launched the distributors in Pakistan have given a thought to promote the Indian movies here in Pakistan too.

Ranbir and Deepika talked to journalists through video link and then Deepika and Ranvir Singh also promoted their movie Baji Rao Mastani, tough we all enjoyed that candid conversation with them.

Now Hum TV is going to do something bigger than that and as Dilwale is about to hit the cinemas in both Indo-Pak on 18th of December, Shah Rukh Khan sent love for his Pakistani fans through a video message.

While Shah Rukh Khan along Kajol Devgan is set to appear in morning show of HUM TV hosted by Sanam Jung.

According to an English daily website, a source in HUM TV confirmed that. Sanam will host Shah Rukh Khan and Kajol for the promotion of their upcoming movie ‘Dilwale’, which is set to release on Dec 18.

Hum TV is also distribution partner of ‘Dilwale’ in Pakistan that may be the reason why Shah Rukh Khan and Kajol choose to appear on HUM TV morning show and through that not only a few people but whole Pakistan will be able to see the stars of Bollywood on Pakistani TV Screen.

It is necessary to mention here that Indian movies do a lot of business in Pakistan too, that is why many Pakistani producers and actors ask to ban Indian cinema on local screens.

As per reports, the show will be recorded in Dubai, it is expected to be on air before the release date of Dec 18. Shah Rukh Khan and Kajol will be wearing Pakistani Designers’ Amir Adnan and FnkAsia dresses on the show, i.e. a blac dress fro Mr. Khan and a red gown for Mrs. Devgan.

The news got viral on social media and Pakistani fans are very excited to see their beloved stars on Pakistani Screen sooner.

Intolerance growing in India, website Slap Amir is proof of it

Indian actor Amir Khan aka Mr. Perfect’s one comment brought out the true intolerant culture in few of the extremist Hindus. He not only faced the threats but was disgusted too by these extremist organizations and their followers.

When the Shiv Sena's Punjab unit offered Rs 1 lakh to anyone who would slap Amir Khan, no one, including the party's heads in Maharashtra took it seriously. 

But now two students from the Miami Ad School has made a website where you can actually 'slap' Amir Khan. 

The website has a hand which allows you to 'slap' Amir, and his face even keeps on changing with every slap. At the time of writing, over 4.6 lakh people had already 'slapped' Amir Khan, as per the site’s counter.

The website text says: “Slapaamir.com is for humor and creative purposes only and does not represent any political views of the people involved. Please be tolerant of our humor,” which is itself controversial statement.

Such act depicts that the hatred towards Muslims in Indian society is growing like mushrooms. This is not the first of its kind example but before that King Khan Shahrukh also felt the heat of his one statement regarding intolerance on his birthday.

This means that any Muslim living in India if talks about the growing intolerance will have to face more intolerance in return.

This is alarming and if the state does not take any action regarding this, the situation can get worse. Modi government is already infamous for its biasedness towards Muslims.

8 Things Pakistani mothers can relate to TV Dramas

We all love our mothers and there is no second thought about it. They are honest, loveable and emotional. Yes, most of our Pakistani mothers are very touchy, sentimental and emotional.

TV channels are a cheaper entertainment and esp. for mothers, who stay at home whole day, make awesome food for her family, maintain the home, and everyone's life. Maybe I'm not the only person who has noticed this while watching TV with your mother, she always has some favourite prime time drama serial, which is quite serious, depressing and full of emotional nonsense, which every tv channel in every second drama is showing.

Few things which almost all Pakistani mothers do while watching those "Crybaby" storylines is what we cannot ignore anymore.

#8- She finds herself in any miserable character of the story

#7- Every dialogue of the leading lady makes sense to her

#6- Most of the tragic stories are having some similarities with her life

#5- She made sacrifices all her life but...

#4- She cries on every scene which has anything or even nothing similar to her past or present

"Mol" is conventional story of unconventional Love

Our drama industry is doing very well and we cannot deny that Pakistani dramas has been hit all over these years here and abroad.

Hum TV gives quality entertainment to viewers but now I see a bit lacking potential of doing this, but still they are producing original and good content for people who love Hum TV and their dramas

Drama serial “Mol” was an unconventional love trio, and I must say it was really very different from all other love stories which we usually watch in all prime time drama serials. It was more of a social and romance oriented drama.

Shahryar was an Assistant Commissioner, the only child of their rich parents, an eligible bachelor, who is very much popular and in demand all around. He is truly a gentleman, apparently. Sajjal, his baby cousin, soon to be his bride, has dreamt to be Shahryar’s wife since her childhood and all family members badly want these two to get married.

In the meanwhile, Shahryar got posted to Sukkur, where he meant that small town girl Eman, who is headstrong, ambitious and very much independent. That is what made Shahryar fall for her, and after so much rebel he got married to her. 

This is not a fairy tale indeed, after few days of marriage Shahryar told Eman he was not actually in love with her, but he liked her personality. He was not a believer of delusional love thing and he can’t believe anyone can live in such a fantasy world. That was an Ouch moment for Eman, all her romantic dreams died, and as time started flying, she found Shahryar more headstrong than her. Who does not wants to be thought in her influence and so he started showing his Manly side to her by negating her views.

Unfortunately, Eman found she cannot be a mother, and again she was the one to be blamed for extinction of Shahryar and his family name like dinosaurs extinct and nobody will be able to remember them who that family was. It was satire.

Rohail, the next door neighbor of Eman, had a baby boy, whose mother left the husband and baby for catching her dreams and Eman found a door to escape in face of Shahram. No doubt Eman got taunts of being a loose character woman, because she visits his neighbor’s home quite often and taking care of that baby.

Actually Shahryar was not fond of kids. What he wanted was dominance and he got it by marrying Eman, who was inferior to him in social status, and belonged to a small town. 

Shahryar’s family started pressurizing Eman to agree him on second marriage and there you go, Sajjal and Shahryar got married.

This what happens in our society? If a woman is incapable of giving birth to a child, she is often divorced or her husband marries another woman for that sake of children. Why they cannot just adopt a child? Is it so difficult to adopt a child here in Pakistan, and the reason for not adopting kids is, he is not from our bloodline.

So in the end the two wives live happily ever after together? Or they end up finding that Shahryar is the one who is incapable of being a father.

The reason why I called it an unconventional love trio, because at one point of time, Sajjal felt Shahryar is doing wrong with Eman. He does not even love her, he suppresses her all the time and now he bringing another wife for the sake of an offspring.

What I learnt from this drama, that whatever the problems are, only the woman will be scapegoat in every situation. They say women are weak, but in my point of view they are the strongest because they have to bear all the burden, find the solution, proof their selves capable of get through in any situation.

The main cast of dram serial “Mol” consist Faisal Qureshi, Naveen Waqar, Iqra Aziz, Ismat Zaidi, Nadeem Baig, ZQ, Adnan Jafri and so one. The story was written by Amina Mufti. All the dramas Amina Mufti has written, you would find them more society oriented and women fighting against the odd laws of society and proving themselves as super women in the end by handling the situation. Just like Eman did.

The message is given in a good way, that submission is not the solution so is the rebellion. Women must try to understand their potential otherwise they will be suppressed through the ages and nothing will change for them.

HMJ cast poured magic in Coke video

New Year eve's gift for film industry is the new thrill.

Ho Mann Jahan has made a lot of hype through their BTS on social media. So as Mahira Khan proved her to be a good actress both on small and silver screens. Recently the Coke’s latest video featuring the lead cast of Ho Mann Jahan is going viral, and that is for good reason.

Revival of Pakistani Cinema is under way, and the video — featuring Mahira Khan, Adeel Husain and Sherheryar Munawar — was released following the launch of the film’s trailer earlier this week and it shows the trio having a lot of fun.

You would enjoy the video as well and might get jealous of them having fun. At the trailer launch event, Director Asim Raza had said Ho Mann Jahan is a movie about the youth. And Coke captures the same essence.

And one thing i must say made my nostalgic whenever watch that TVC, the background track, which is a tribute to Zohaib and Nazia Hassan (Late). You might cherish the real friendship and this classic song in the new TVC.

“Yes, it’s a film for the youth, but anyone who is connected to ‘youth’, it’s also their story,” Ho Mann Jahan director Asim Raza said on trailer launch.

The two-and-a-half-minute clip shows the bitter-sweet side of life; from the fun-filled days in college to the harsh realities of real life. It gives a glimpse into the relationship dynamics the trio share and the struggle to break free from stereotypes associated with a music career.

“Both actors [Adeel and Sheheryar] are very different, from different schools of thoughts. I would have to tune myself when working with each — with Adeel I’d have to be serious, with Sheheryar it was the complete opposite,” said Mahira when asked which of her two male co-stars she enjoyed working with more.

The makers of the film also shared BTS footage at the event which led to a rather pleasant revelation: the handsome Fawad Khan will be seen in a cameo in Ho Mann Jahan.

Asim Raza’s debut venture is definitely one to look out for, the trailer is promising and keeps the viewer hooked. The cast includes veteran actors such as Bushra Ansari, Sonya Jehan, Nimra Bucha and Arshad Mehmud.

Atif Aslam, Tina Sani, Abu Mohammad, Asrar, Faakhir, Jimmy Khan, Zeb and Haniya have lent vocals for the songs in the film.

The film is slated to release 1st January 2016 and many are expecting it to be the New Year’s gift for Pakistan’s film industry. Mahira is also co-starring in Btown movie with King Khan, and here she is proving to be the Queen Khan of Lolly-wood industry.

Break the silence to punish the culprits, Drama serial “Sangat” warns you not to be silent

The worst crime which prevails in our society is silence. Silence over wrong doings and ill happenings. We are tamed not to be spoken, and yet this we face worse incidents due to that silence. Ayesha and Adnan are a happily married couple. The only thing which bothers them is Adnan’s mother want a grandchild so desperately that she keeps on pinching Ayesha for that every time.

The story of new drama serial “Sangat” tell a lot about the silence which the victims opt; everything was going fine in Ayesha’s life and then suddenly a tragedy happens. One night she was at her mother’s place, where dacoits come and loot everything Ayesha and her mother had. One of them raped Ayesha as well, who later on was revealed to be her mother’s colleague’s son Shavez. May be he liked Ayesha some time before but she got married to Adnan. And he took revenge by raping her.

Nobody knows this that Ayesha had been raped, and that was Shavez who spoiled her life. Adnan tries to heal the wounds and thinks his wife is suffering from some trauma and is scared. He consults psychiatrist and later on Aamil Baba as well, but nothing is working out.

The story actually tells how the silence made Ayesha more mentally sick and heavy, as she thinks Adnan is being betrayed by this. She is also afraid how he would react if got to know about the reality that his wife has been raped that night. This is a tough phase for all.

The more you hide, more the culprit becomes stronger. How society will accept the reality that Shavez is the one who has to be punished and put in trial not Ayesha. Saba Qamar played Ayesha’s role and Adnan was being played by Meeqal Zulfiqar. While Shavez’s character was acted by Zahid Ali who is doing pretty well. Other cast of the drama contains Samina Ahmed, Kiran Haq, Saba Faisal and others. Story is written by Zafar Miraj and directed by Kashir Nisar. Drama serial “Sangat” is aired on Hum TV and is quite a good watch. 

I am looking forward how Shavez’s inner guilt leads the story and will Adnan act in a typical way when he get to know the reality? Adnan and his family may turn their faces then what will Ayesha do? Either keep begging for his husband’s mercy or give some strong answer to Shavez after losing everything she had?

Double trouble comes to the house of Bigg Boss in this season

Salman says Nine is Mine, while this this time Original Big Brother trend will be followed in Bigg Boss season 9.

When Salman Khan returns to hosting Bigg Boss in mid-October for its ninth season, the popular reality show will be in for a drastic makeover. This year for the first time contestants entering the Bigg Boss house will play the game in pairs.

"The only thing that is confirmed so far is that the housemates will play the game as couples to try and avoid elimination and finally win the show. None of the contestants have been confirmed, so we are not sure of names or the nature of the pairings yet," said a source in the production team of the show to an Indian daily. 

"It is yet to be finalized if the pairing of contestants will be a predefined affair or the two-member teams will be created on the spot once all members enter the house in the inaugural episode," our source added.

The concept is actually similar to what the original American show Big Brother did in its season 9. On that show, though, contestants were randomly paired up after they entered the house. They had to survive as teams of two during the initial rounds before the finalists being allowed to play individually for the grand prize. It is too early to say if Bigg Boss season 9 will have one winner or two.

The pairing concept will also reportedly bring in a concept called Power Couple from Big Brother 9. In the original American show, the concept gave the strongest couple power to eliminate any couple they wanted to. The concept seems just apt for raking up some random dirty politics, on which the show has forever thrived.

Recently, Salman set off social media in a frenzy by posting the message: "Nine is Mine." The message trended on Twitter and it was soon obvious that Salman was confirming his return to the show as the host of its ninth season.

It is reported that the seasons in which Salman Khan hosted, rated more as compared to other seasons. No doubt fan following of Salman brings more to Bigg Boss.

Big Boss 9 will be more religious this time

Big Boss season 9 will be having few old starts and few controversial ones this time.

The most favorite reality show of India is about to start it's new season sooner. This time Salman Khan aka Dabbang Khan will be the host of the Big Boss 9th edition. As Salman Khan mentioned “I’ll be back”, when he had to leave the Big Boss season 8 prior to his film arrangement.

According to the sources, Salman Khan will be back to his regime, starring as host of Big Boss 9. Salman Khan produces ‘bang’, which no one else can. Salman Khan has played pivotal role in making Bigg Boss a super hit. 

Many other stars have hosted Big Boss but the rating hits records only in Sallu Bhai's show. A source also claims, Radhe Maa and Gurmeet Ram Rahim Singh will be showing their ‘skills’ in 9th edition of the show.

Who is Radhe Maa? Well the woman who was under discussions when a photo of her got viral in mini skirt. The religious Indian spiritual leader, having hundreds of followers all across the country. Although, yet no confirmation of participation is being made by her.

On the other hands Gurmeet Ram Rahim Singh is a social reformer, preacher; who recently came up with controversial film ‘MSG: The Messenger of God’. According to some sources, Baba g has around 40-50 million followers.

Big Boss season 9 will be quite religious this time and we are waiting anxiously about revealing the stars and celebrities who are going to be part of it.

Kamal R Khan and Dolly Bindra will be participating again while, Uday Chopra and Chetan Bhagat are also expected to be part of show.
