"Mol" is conventional story of unconventional Love

Our drama industry is doing very well and we cannot deny that Pakistani dramas has been hit all over these years here and abroad.

Hum TV gives quality entertainment to viewers but now I see a bit lacking potential of doing this, but still they are producing original and good content for people who love Hum TV and their dramas

Drama serial “Mol” was an unconventional love trio, and I must say it was really very different from all other love stories which we usually watch in all prime time drama serials. It was more of a social and romance oriented drama.

Shahryar was an Assistant Commissioner, the only child of their rich parents, an eligible bachelor, who is very much popular and in demand all around. He is truly a gentleman, apparently. Sajjal, his baby cousin, soon to be his bride, has dreamt to be Shahryar’s wife since her childhood and all family members badly want these two to get married.

In the meanwhile, Shahryar got posted to Sukkur, where he meant that small town girl Eman, who is headstrong, ambitious and very much independent. That is what made Shahryar fall for her, and after so much rebel he got married to her. 

This is not a fairy tale indeed, after few days of marriage Shahryar told Eman he was not actually in love with her, but he liked her personality. He was not a believer of delusional love thing and he can’t believe anyone can live in such a fantasy world. That was an Ouch moment for Eman, all her romantic dreams died, and as time started flying, she found Shahryar more headstrong than her. Who does not wants to be thought in her influence and so he started showing his Manly side to her by negating her views.

Unfortunately, Eman found she cannot be a mother, and again she was the one to be blamed for extinction of Shahryar and his family name like dinosaurs extinct and nobody will be able to remember them who that family was. It was satire.

Rohail, the next door neighbor of Eman, had a baby boy, whose mother left the husband and baby for catching her dreams and Eman found a door to escape in face of Shahram. No doubt Eman got taunts of being a loose character woman, because she visits his neighbor’s home quite often and taking care of that baby.

Actually Shahryar was not fond of kids. What he wanted was dominance and he got it by marrying Eman, who was inferior to him in social status, and belonged to a small town. 

Shahryar’s family started pressurizing Eman to agree him on second marriage and there you go, Sajjal and Shahryar got married.

This what happens in our society? If a woman is incapable of giving birth to a child, she is often divorced or her husband marries another woman for that sake of children. Why they cannot just adopt a child? Is it so difficult to adopt a child here in Pakistan, and the reason for not adopting kids is, he is not from our bloodline.

So in the end the two wives live happily ever after together? Or they end up finding that Shahryar is the one who is incapable of being a father.

The reason why I called it an unconventional love trio, because at one point of time, Sajjal felt Shahryar is doing wrong with Eman. He does not even love her, he suppresses her all the time and now he bringing another wife for the sake of an offspring.

What I learnt from this drama, that whatever the problems are, only the woman will be scapegoat in every situation. They say women are weak, but in my point of view they are the strongest because they have to bear all the burden, find the solution, proof their selves capable of get through in any situation.

The main cast of dram serial “Mol” consist Faisal Qureshi, Naveen Waqar, Iqra Aziz, Ismat Zaidi, Nadeem Baig, ZQ, Adnan Jafri and so one. The story was written by Amina Mufti. All the dramas Amina Mufti has written, you would find them more society oriented and women fighting against the odd laws of society and proving themselves as super women in the end by handling the situation. Just like Eman did.

The message is given in a good way, that submission is not the solution so is the rebellion. Women must try to understand their potential otherwise they will be suppressed through the ages and nothing will change for them.

Hum TV Diyar e Dil ruling prime time screen - Egotistic Rohi vs.Furious Wali

The story of Hum TV drama serial starts from the mountains of Sakardu, where the prince charming Behrooz( Mekal) decided to rebel against his father Agha Jaan ( Abid Ali) and marries a girl of his choice Rohi (Sanam Saeed). He leaves his childhood fiancee Arjumand (Hareem) and the younger brother Sohaib (Ali Rehman) has to prove the most obedient and accepts his so called Bhabhi as a wife.

Years pass on, Rohi and Behrooz lives separation from their families and makes their own small world. They have one daughter named Faara(Maya Ali). What actually people love about this drama is the story and plot; which is realistic and different from the love triangles. The woman who was once most desirable for Behrooz suddenly turned into most agnostic and egoistic when Behrooz wanted to reunite with his family after years of separation.

Is Rohi being too bitchy and mean, she cannot share his husband? Yes indeed she is. Behrooz wanted Faara to marry his younger brother's son Wali, I must say that both look adorable together on screen and share chemistry which attracts audience.

Osman Khalid Butt and Maya Ali got hit as a couple from Aplus Drama "Aun Zara" which broke all records of fame in neighboring country as well. What we see here is the same fidget relationship between two. The conversations between Wali and Faara are far different from typical couples and when the elders agree the end up in Nikkah.

Destiny has decided something else and more complex. Wali's father sohaib dies and later on Behrooz also passes away in agitation with his wife. Rohi has no patience to tolerate her in laws at all; who once never accepted her as a Barri Bahoo.

Poor rohi trying to get away from the guilt that her husband regret taht marriage at the end, when she wanted her daughter not to marry wali. After Behrooz, Agha jaan wants to pour his affection on Rohi and Faara but here again the ego comes between.

The conflicted and confused Fara is stuck amid the dysfunctional family of Rohi and only her cousin Moiz is keeping her together. Though he likes her and pops a question of marriage knowing that she is married. Unfortunately Wali witnesses the scene of proposing Moiz his wife and threatens Faara to teach her a lesson.

The drama is about love marriage and reality of life which we face. Even after few years of separation of family at one point of time we need them back in life. A little bit of ego and anger might put a gap between you two. This is what Behrooz and Rohi suffered. The mesmerizing locations of Sakardu and excellent cast made Diyar e DIl rule all the current prime time tv serials. The cast mainly contains Abid Ali, Mekaal Hassan, Sanam Saeed, Hareem Farooq, Osman Khalid Butt, Maya Ali, Behrooz Sabzwari, Ali Rehman and more. 

The valley of heart other meaning of title tell about the realistic love stories which is no doubt a very good addition to our tv screens. As drama is moving towards it's end we are still looking forward for more of OKB and Maya Ali's acting. Sanam saeed has been phenomenal in her role and the Hareem Farooq also gave it a big shot. She is proving herself the upcoming big star and we can see it as well,

Direction of drama serial Diyar e Dil is by Haseeb Hassan and story by Farhat Ishtiaq based on the novel written with same title.

What we love and hate about the drama is the story which is not dragged and tells how at one time parents become stubborn and does not accepts their children's freedom of choosing their partner. After some certain age they become naive; wants their children back but it has brought too much bitterness in their lives. It also tells what sufferings woman's ego can bring to their family and especially to their children. 

Maya and OKB look adorable together and this time they also proved that the director's casting sense is incredibly good. Now Rohi who is furious and Wali is also mad at Faara while she is confused between these two and is unable to decide. Agha Jaan pouring love and affection on her and trying to win her heart, as she is the only left offspring of his beloved son.

Noor ul Hassan stands tall among all Ramadan transmissions, ask me why?

Game shows are meant to be entertaining but we witness new hippety hop scenes for the sake of grabbing a present from the host.

Ramadan is not only a holy month but for Pakistanis it’s a month of gifts and presents as many TV channels gave gifts in abundance to the audience in their special transmission. Every channel has their own special Ramadan or regular game show; we see many hosts who give gifts to their audience as these are candies of Halloween.

I should not be comparing Halloween candies with Ramadan transmission game shows but here is something which strike my mind from day one of these weird and disgusting game shows.

Recall Tariq Aziz the first game show host who started “Inam Ghar” and entertained us all with his wits and intelligence but with his informative questions as well. Later on Dr. Amir Liaquat started his own show comprising on same idea but the theme was actually different; which became the base of all upcoming game shows we see on our screens.

I like the idea of giving people presents through these game shows but abhor the way those gifts are distributed. They are supposed to do stupid and foolish things, more famous the host is, more idiotic acts he would ask his audience to do for the sake of a mobile, bike or even for a car.

Between this race of more ratings and more popularity I noticed only one person who is diligent, decent and very courteous towards his audience and does not expect his audience to act fool in front of whole Pakistan on prime time show; or give them funny names or make them joke on live show.

Noor ul Hassan is the man who in his Ramadan show distributes gifts among his audience in such a respectable way that it would steal your heart and may be you too abhor those gaudy anchors yelling vivaciously on their splendid show sets.

It may give you a feel that those actively running hosts are probably distributing alms among audience and the way people sprang on each other to grab the bag is very annoying. Noor’s show is vice versa to all such typical game shows, and he distributes gifts through draws.

We are heading towards a game show culture which is getting foolish day by day and later on it will also end up likewise to those morning shows. PTV never lost its true spirit and the selections it made for Ramadan transmission told us the standards. Noor ul Hassan not only stands tall among all the game show hosts but it also tells us that entertainment is not only gaudy sets, idiotic phrases and foolish acts; but what content we are giving to our audience in what way.

No proceedings against Ayyan, FBR stopped from legal action

FBR warned not to initiate any cases against super model. Who can be behind it?

Ayyan Ali convicted of money laundering case has got new turn. She has been in limelight from so many days and finally her case got new move. Reportedly, the Federal Board of Revenue (FBR) has been stopped from initiating legal proceedings against model Ayyan Ali for dodging taxes.

According to national media newspaper, a source said that the FBR had prepared a case against the model under section A-192 of Income Tax Ordinance for hiding income and other taxes running into millions of rupees.

Under the section, concealing income or providing wrong information on income is a punishable offence with a sentence of two years or fine or both.

A top official of the FBR said that it has no interest in supporting non-tax payers including Ayyan. If act of non-payment of tax was proved before a special judge under the relevant section, legal proceedings will be launched against her at every cost, the official said.

Though Ayyan is holding a national tax number, she has never filed her income tax return. The model owns a flat in Karachi, which she purchased in September, 2011.

She maintains an account in a local bank in Karachi and has deposited around Rs 4 million in the bank account. She also has a double cabin vehicle costing Rs 1.5 million. She holds UEA business visa and has set up a company, AFZE, in Jabal Ali Free trade zone in Dubai.

Hence it is proven that beauty can win against the beasts and so can our super model. May be you might be thinking who is that force behind Ayyan and protecting her from getting into more fuss. Indeed the person whose money Ayyan was laundering but the name is not revealed yet.

On other hand another Dubai based news paper Khaleej Times visited three locations listed as Axact offices in online business directories and found only one bearing the company’s name. A small leased space inside a business centre managed by Tecom in Dubai Media City is all that remains of Axact’s Dubai operations.

Nobody has visited this office in the last two years and it hasn’t been opened even once,” said a security guard working at a business centre leased by Axact.

Two chairs, an empty office desk and a telephone are visible in the glass cabin representing Axact FZ LLC.

“The owner is never here but we do receive a few couriers occasionally,” said the guard.

He could not elaborate further on whether the courier was ultimately delivered to the company’s representatives but did confirm the company was owned by a ‘Pakistani businessman’.

Supermodel Ayyan Ali spent around Rs169,000 for her appearance in court

Pakistani supermodel Ayyan Ali, who is detained in Adiala jail (Rawalpindi, Pakistan) for smuggling $500,000 to Dubai, is taking special care of her model image while making court appearances.

Local media reported that Ayyan spent around Rs 169,000 on preparations for her court appearance on Saturday (May 9).

The jailed model paid Rs45,000 for her makeup, and Rs52,000 for her exclusively designer dress.

She also wore a French perfume on the day of hearing. All these, with some help from jail officers.

Apparently, the jailed model has been maintaining a personal diary where she wrote details of her court appearances and why it is important for her to look good.

"I have to face media persons and cameras while appearing in the courtroom, whereas everything inside the jail remains the same. Only the faces of duty officers change in shifts," the model noted in her diary.

The model also mentioned that she gets assistance from the female cops in hairstyling, adding that her fellow inmates also take good care of her.

However, the jail authorities have denied such reports.

Daily Pakistan also reports that Ayyan Ali is taking good care of jail officials in return to provision of 'super facilities'.

According to local media reports, the model has asked one of her close aides to buy a refrigerator and give it to in-charge women ward, lady deputy superintendent (LDS) of Adiala Jail; in return of her hospitality and special attention she was paying towards Ayyan during her hard times.

The court has snubbed the Custom investigators over delay in completion of charge-sheet against the accused and ordered them to submit it before the court.

The court adjourned the hearing in the money smuggling case till May 18, 2015.

Katrina had a fall, got her neck injured

Being a professional she continued her work which caused more pain to her neck and leg.

Katrina Kaif has been busy in her shootings, and as she has no so far super hit film in the last year, she is trying too hard.

It was reported in an Indian daily that the super star of Bollywood Katrina Kaif met with an accident while shooting for her next film 'Fitoor'.

Hindustantimes.com reported about her accident. A source was quoted in the report saying that Katrina was required to ride a horse and she lost balance and almost fell off the horse. The actress climbed back and finished the shot as planned. After the shot, she realized that she had injured her neck and leg.

Further to the report, director Abhishek Kapoor insisted that she should take a day off, but since a lot of permissions had been taken for the shoot, the actress insisted on completing the shoot.

According to a report on Daily.bhaskar.com, Katrina Kaif was irked while shooting for two ad films at a suburban Mumbai studio. News sources stated that the actress was irritated when one of the ad films required her to change her outfit multiple times, the report further added.

Katrina is a popular name in the brand world and has a host of endorsements in her kitty. But being the thorough professional that she is, continued to work which caused her injury. She is through professional and as opposed our B-town heroines Katrina is tough.

Mawra ready to charm Bollywood with her talent

Pakistan has talent and Bollywood always get attracted towards Pakistani actors. Talk of past or present, many Pakistani actors got offers from India and they showed well. Latest example is of Fawad Khan who is shining like a real star in both India and Pakistan.

Latest happening is Pakistani VJ-turned-model-turned-TV actress Mawra Hocane, who is known for her roles in popular dramas such as Ahista Ahista and Main Bushra among others, is in Mumbai these days and it seems we will soon be seeing her in a Bollywood film.

The pretty actress has been posting photos on her Instagram account during her stay in India, keeping her fans updated not just about her whereabouts but also dropping hints about the purpose of her visit. However, she took her followers by surprise when she posted a video of Ranbir Kapoor praising her and hoping to meet her soon.

He said in a video posted on Instagram, “Hi Mawra, this is Ranbir, here, you are extremely beautiful, extremely talented and I hope to see you sometime soon,” Ranbir is seen saying in the video before he blows a flying kiss to end his message.

A few weeks prior to Mawra’s trip to Mumbai, a Pakistani magazine had reported that she would go to India to read a few scripts before possibly signing a Bollywood film. Her sister Urwa has already made a film debut with the blockbuster Na Maloom Afraad which was released last year.

She also posted a photo in which she shown an injured hand; it was written that it happened because of dancing. It means she is going to blow off the screen with not with her acting but dancing as well.

Now that Ranbir Kapoor himself has shown keen interest to see Mawra, we think it’s possible we might see the two coming together on the big screen. Till then, keep seeing her Instagram for more updates.

Want some "Jalaibee"? I bet you'll regret

Recently released with a bang, Pakistani film “Jalaibee” did not get much appreciation after its release. As the weak and Bollywood type story of the movie remained incapable of getting much attention of people. The cinematography was done very professionally and with an Arri Alexa camera which had great result on screen, but it also showed minute errors and flaws of the movie which looked bizarre. It twisted audiences' minds but also came to naught.

The cast is very strong and good except few ones, The Mafia King’s role was played by Veteran Actor Sajid Hasan, street criminals Danish Taimoor as Billu and Ali Safina as Bagga, the bar dancer Zhalay Sarhadi as Bunnu, King’s dumb and beautiful daughter was Sabeeka Imam as Iman, King’s closest man Adnan Jafar as Dara and the avengers Waqr ali as Ali Jamal and Uzair Jaswal as Jimmy.

Story is full of stupid twists and they claim it the best so far action thriller movie of the times, which after watching the movie seems like a rumor. The story is written and directed by Yasir Jaswal and he spend heavy amount on making this movie which he might not be able to get back. The producer is Eman syed and movie came under ARY Films and Redrum Films banner. No doubt it’s a complete flop.

Movie has mixed Urdu and English dialogues, which do not pull together. The story is like a Mafia Don named King killed a man, whose foreign qualified sons come back to Pakistan for avenging their father’s blood. Elder son Ali traps King’s daughter Iman and kidnaps her father by getting information from her.

While two street criminals who indirectly work for King lost the stolen money, and Dara, who is King’s man, asks them to return money by day after tomorrow. The goofy Bagga and angry young man Billu steals a car (P.S. a hot yellow Mustang 70 the original attraction in whole movie, which contains kidnapped mafia gang leader) and finds someone in dickey. Out of fear Billu shoots that man and is off to a casino which he wants to rob with the help of a bar dancer Bunnu. Poor Billu is screwed up badly because Dara owns that casino; and he became furious when saw Billu and Bagga looted the casino.

After all the incidents everybody dies, nobody gets the money; but the lone survivor is the real villain of the movie, about whom I will not disclose because I don’t want to kill you curiosity here although every scene was predictable. The action scenes were given Hollywood touch while the movie looked like a 90’s Bollywood style storyline which lost attention even before interval. Background music was sometimes so dull that it killed the punch lines and soul of scene. Otherwise the songs included are better than the story. Super Model Ayyan Arrested for Money Laundering

When fame is utilized for negative purposes it brings shame to the person and to the community. Pakistani supermodel Ayyan was arrested Saturday at the Benazir International Airport after customs allegedly recovered $500,000 from her luggage.

21-year old model was travelling to Dubai from Islamabad, currency was found when the luggage was booked on a flight was checked, customs officials said.

A money laundering case was registered against her as customs regulations do not allow taking such a huge sum of undeclared money out of the country, they said.

An investigation has been launched and Ayyan was taken to a government hospital for medical check-up as routine since female offenders are medically examined before being lodged in jail.

One of the leading names in the Pakistan modelling circuit, Ayyan in recent years had also tried her hand at music. She released a song titled ‘You and I’ last year and followed it up with an album.

Under law, money laundering is punishable with rigorous imprisonment for a term which shall not be less than one year but may extend to 10 years.

The offence is also liable to fines which may extend to Rs1 million and also forfeiture of property involved in the money-laundering.

The supermodel debuted in the fashion world in 2010 and was present in the fashion world till February 2014. She is one of the highest-paid models of the fashion industry in Pakistan. She was off screen from few months. She was shown hiding her face when escorted by Police. She was wearing Abbaya on airport as if she wanted to hide her identity.
