PPP under hot waters, Faheem and Gillani's non bailable warrants issued



Anti Corruption Court (ACC) has issued non-bailable arrest warrants of former Prime Minister (PM) Syed Yusuf Raza Gillani and former commerce minister Makhdoom Amin Fahim in Trade Development Authority Pakistan (TDAP) corruption case.

Multi million dollars TDAP scam came up for hearing before ATC led by judge Muhammad Azim Thursday. Investigation officer FIA Ali Akram Zardari presented challans of 12 new cases against the accused persons in the court.

Ali Akram Zardari told the court over 70 cases were already registered against Syed Yousuf Raza Gilani, Makhdoom Amin Fahim, secretary Muhammad Zubair and others in TDAP scam. Challans of 12 cases against Syed Yousuf Raza Gillani, Makhdoom Amin Fahim have already been filed in the court but both these accused have got bail from the court to avert their arrest.

Dr Hussain was presented before an anti-terrorism court in Karachi, a day after he was picked up by law-enforcers in civvies in what appears to be a major graft-busting move.

According to a source privy to the development, the former minister will be interrogated by a JIT for his alleged involvement during his detention.After informing the court, the paramilitary force took Dr Hussain into preventive detention for 90 days.

He will be interrogated under Section 11EEEE of ATA – special powers the armed force enjoys following the enactment of Pakistan Protection Act.

While Few days back ex Senator Qasim was arrested by NAB in a corruption case. Ameen Faheem along many PPP leaders left country before the action against them could be done. It was in the news that PPP leadership is leaving country as soon as possible means there is a lot coming on their way, which made the party leadership to run away from the country.
