Alamgir - Gori Pangaht Pe Thehro - Lyrics

Alamgir famous singer of Old PTV with block buster song "Gori Panghat Pe Thehro Ghar Nahi Jao". I really love this song this songs reminds me my childhood, my school's Meena Bazar. O dear I still remember the scene one sweet girl and boy they use to dance on this song and another group girls dancing around with sticks in their hand. 


Alamgir Born in East Pakistan currently Bangladesh. He moved to Karachi with passion of singing. He started is singing career from a small cafe on Tariq Road. He got chance in PTV 1970. That was time when Pakistani heard Urdu music in Pop style. He soon became popular among the younger generation in the country. Alamgir made a dash on the Pakistani music scene.


 Alamgir has polycystic kidney disease, undergoes dialysis three times per week and requires a kidney transplant. He currently resides in Atlanta, Georgia, USA. He is respected by the music lovers everywhere and still performs in live concerts in America. In March 2012 he visited Bangladesh & Pakistan to perform. Currently he is facing kidney problem and under treatment.
