Donald Trumps proposal to ban Muslims roundly condemned

The American Presidential candidate Donald Trump use to vomit venom against Muslims and after recent Californian shootings he demanded to ban Muslims from entering into America.

White House press secretary Josh Earnest said that GOP frontrunner Donald Trump’s call to ban all Muslim immigrants from entering the US “disqualifies him from serving as president” during Tuesday’s press briefing.

"The first thing that a president does when he or she takes the oath of office is sworn an oath to preserve, protect and defend the Constitution of the United States," he told reporters. "And the fact is that what Donald Trump said yesterday disqualifies him from being president. And for Republican candidates to stand by their pledge to support Mr. Trump, that in and of itself is disqualifying."

Pew Research has estimated that immigration will cause the population of U.S. Muslims to more than double over the next two decades—from 2.6 million in 2010 to 6.2 million in 2030. This demographic change is entirely the product of legal admissions–that is, it is a formal policy of the federal government adopted by Congress.

The Trump's ban on Muslims was highly condemned, even a Florida mayor says he's banning Donald Trump from his city after the Republican presidential candidate called for the U.S. to stop Muslims from entering the country.

Playing off of Trump's earlier words, St. Petersburg Mayor Rick Kriseman tweeted Monday that he was banning Trump "until we fully understand the dangerous threat posed by all Trumps."

After billionaire Donald Trump commented that Jeff Bezos was "screwing the public" by sheltering his money through an investment in The Washington Post, the founder of Amazon.com replied by offering the instantly presidential candidate a seat on his space startup's reusable rocket.

The need of hour is to diagnose what are the factors which lead people to get indulge with same genders rather than humiliating them for what they love. One must prevent it by curing the mentality not suppressing. 

The biggest news for America this week might be the pride for all or equality for all is when the Supreme Court legalize the right to marry the person you love i.e. same sex marriage.

Following the Supreme Court decision to legalize same-sex marriage in the United States, Twitter was a-flurry with millions of tweets celebrating the decision.

While multiple hashtags were used, ranging from #SCOTUSMarriage to #GayMarriage, the hashtag that successfully broke the Internet was #LoveWins.

The hashtag was used almost 5.5 million times in 24 hours, according to Topsy, a social analytics site. It also remained in Twitter's top global trends throughout the day, as celebrities, activists, even the president used #LoveWins to celebrate the Court's decision.

Overall, there were over 10 million tweets about the Supreme Court decision, between 9:30 a.m. and 5:30 p.m. on Friday, according to Twitter.

Social media got trended with in and against this law while we saw a huge number of rainbow display picture on social media accounts. 

The same sex marriage is not allowed in any religion but even then a large number of homosexuals live around us, some declare and some don’t. It is only a matter of fact these such marriages in USA are inevitable while in some other countries such couples are seen in a handful of quantity.

There is need to understand that what urges these youngsters to get attracted towards their same sex and to educate them the law of nature rather than disgusting them for their feelings of love. One cannot sabotage the feelings but can suppress it, which is not the solution.

This is a truth which prevails in our societies and it cannot be denied.

American Cop shot Black unarmed man, anger erupted in people

Recently a dramatic video that shows a white South Carolina police officer shooting a fleeing black man has led authorities to file a murder charge against the officer amid public outrage over a series of deaths of unarmed black men at the hands of US law enforcement agents.

Protests erupted in South Carolina over the fatal shooting and being discriminatory towards the black citizens of America.

The video, provided to the dead man’s family and lawyer by an unidentified person, shows officer Michael Thomas Slager firing eight shots at the back of Walter Lamer Scott as Scott runs away. The 50-year-old man falls after the eighth shot, fired after a brief pause.

The shooting in comes amid an ongoing nationwide debate over issues of trust between law enforcement and minority communities.

The U.S. Justice Department also decided not to prosecute Wilson, who resigned in November. But the department faulted the city for racial bias and profiling in the police department and a profit-driven municipal court system, prompting several city officials to resign.

A White House task force has recommended a host of changes to the nation’s police policies, and President Obama sent Attorney General Eric H. Holder Jr. to cities around the country to try to improve police relations with minority neighborhoods.

America is thought to be the country of multi ethnicities but the discriminatory behavior towards minorities is not lessening with the time, rather than the rage is increasing in people. This is not the first case, few months back a Muslim family was shot dead by their neighbor, and the case is still in court for the justice. Mostly Muslims and Black are under target. People of South Carolina protested against this incident.

Starbucks increases higher education program reimbursement

Starbucks Coffee had a student tuition fee reimbursement program which after seeing it’s success has planned to expand it.

They just announced a commitment of up to $250 million to ensure that each of its U.S. employees, whether full or part-time, can go to four years of college and graduate without any tuition debt.

Originally, students starting out as freshmen and sophomores in Starbucks’ program were given a partial scholarship and need-based financial aid, while juniors and seniors received full tuition reimbursement for any out-of-pocket tuition costs. Upon graduation, employees do not have an obligation to stay with the coffee chain.

The Seattle-based company has already (since June) been offering tuition coverage but until now has limited it to juniors and seniors. Starbucks is now expanding the program so that all eligible part-time or full-time can apply for and complete all four years of a bachelor’s degree through Arizona State University’s generally well-regarded online degree program.

Under the expanded plan, all eligible Starbucks employees can apply to have all four years of their tuition covered by the company and ASU.

Starbucks spokesperson Laurel Harper says that some 2,000 Starbucks partners are already enrolled in the program, and that the expansion announced today means the company is going to invest up to $250 million or possibly more to help at least 25,000 partners graduate by 2025.

It is potentially a positive decision for both corporate culture and customer service. This would not only give employers a chance to move on while on the other hand the Starbucks could have educated staff whom they can utilize on their other fields of work as well. This scholarship program will benefit them.

Travel warning for Pakistan issued by US

After many terrorist attacks on the land of Pakistan; now the US has warned its citizens to avoid unnecessary travel to Pakistan due to a threat posed by foreign and local militants throughout the country. 

The US continues to provide consular services for all its citizens in Pakistan; Local media reported a statement from the state department that asks US citizens not to visit Pakistan for non-essential purposes.

"The US consulate general in Peshawar no longer offers consular services and the US consulate general in Lahore remains temporarily closed for public services," added the statement. 

Travel warnings have also been issued for Americans in Saudi Arabia and Algeria.
