Chand Sitara and JJ are new sensation this August

You would love to hear JJ after decades but oops something got more importance in event than the song. 

This august we have treat for ears, in many forms. First it was Coke Studio season 8, then many other songs came across our play list and now the veteran singer turned Maulna, Junaid Jamshed’s patriotic track which was much anticipated launched. 

Throughout this time I was urging to hear JJ’s pure and melodious voice, though his Naats are equally popular as his music was. The start studded event by Pepsi Pakistan did not only launch the music video of track “Chand Sitara” written and directed by legendary director Shoaib Mansoor, but it also made JJ hit back the stage after several years. Along JJ it was Ali zafar, former Vital Signs members Salman Ahmad, Shahi Hasan Hadiqa Kiani and zoe viccaji reunited for this epic rendition.

JJ somehow remained the center of attention, esp. on social media when his selfies and other photographs along his friends and past colleagues circulated. Hadiqa Kayani holding JJ’s hand or the chum’s group selfie was highly criticized.

Apart from the main event, the selfies were made to hit social media and we saw memes slamming JJ on this. Junaid Jamshed who is believed to be a misogynist was highly under flames after his photographs took back stage.

Well we love your melodious voice and even if you had fun time with your old buddies, I guess it’s completely okay with that. It isn’t a big deal but because of his controversial statements, the critiques also become very radical.

Shoaib Mansoor said that it took 25 years for this song. Pepsi gave tribute to all the unsung heroes of Pakistan in this video and you might get a short trip to all the beautiful places of Pakistan.

A word of appreciation for utilizing Naseebo Laal's talent

Pakistan has no less talent than other. It is just how we use and present them before world. Singer from Punjab Naseebo Laal has been recognized for her strong vocals and accurate punjabi accent. She also gave very hit numbers but many vulgar ones as well.

Once Naseebo was asked in a morning show interview that why she sang such vulgar song while she has such a good voice. In reply she said that I have nothing to do, the composers and music directors ask me to sing those lyrics. The innocence in her talk depicted that being a less educated person, she is unable to deny the opportunities which comes her way.

Recently a video was floating on social media, with Sarmad Qadeer's name, when i heard of it I was actually shock. Sarmad made Naseebo to sing for her medley. I am not sure about Sarmad but Naseebo was phenomenal in this medley. From very start she sang on high pitch that might jolt you that is she the really that one? Sarmad was not too good but Naseebo really nailed it.

He actually chose bollywood track from movie Anjana Anjani which Naseebo sang very well, but along her Sarmad sounded on very low pitch.Good thing is he tried to bring forward her talent in a positive way.  The video got viral on social media and many people praised Sarmad for giving a chance to Naseebo for a commendable performance.

Coke Studio Season 8 promo will give you goose bumps and revive spirit of patriotism

The old national Pakistani song in new bag will make you addict of listening to it again and again.

Coke studio has set standards of music which were not heard in contemporary era. Revival of old music, new compositions and even new songs. A lot of foreign and local instruments were also being used in recent versions of coke studio. They tried to revive the heritage and spirit of pure Pakistani music which was near to be forgotten.

This year it's been launched in month of independence and the first curtain raiser will not only give you a glimpse into this season but will also make you sing along one of the most beautiful and hauntingly peaceful. It will melt your hearts and make you put it on repeat.

The clips starts from Fareeda Khanum and Ali Azmat, it will move you from the oldest to recent voices introduced. Underground singers to lately discovered musicians, you will a bit of all and cherish this wonderful composition. Along Anward Maqsood's narration. All the times you have heared " Sohni Dharti", it had made you tap your feet and swing you along. This version of Sohni Dharti will revive the spirit of independence and arouse feelings of patriotism.

Meera to get fame by singing English Song

We all have seen many events when Lollywood star Meera ji had be struggling to talk in English and getting stuck on many English words. Apart from that she has done many new things like "Kon banega Meera Pati" and many different ventures to add her into fame

English songs are kind of new trend in our society and those who can sing them get applauded. Justin bebes who broke the internet by singing Justin Bieber’s song “Baby”.

It is revealed now that Meera ji got inspired from her and going to try her talent in English singing. Sooner we are going to hear something astonishing from meera ji and God know what that would be like.

Sources close to Meera, revealed that actress has recorded a video during her trip to the United States. Due to that video, Meera was inspired to record an English song.

Meera had also stated in the recent past that she aspired to act in Hollywood and that her recent visit to the United States had aided her in speaking fluent English.

If that earns fame for her like super model Ayyan Ali got from her English Debut or she will get more criticism like her previous venture, we are waiting...

‘Stand by Me’ fame melodious singer dies at 76

I remember when I first heard this beautiful song in a tacky remix, I was wondering what Shah rukh has done to such a song but later on found the original track on YouTube. For the first time I got to know that it was a classic romantic love song sung by a singer named Ben. E King. From that I heard a lot of his tracks and many of them are favorite now. 

The unforgettable lead singer for the Drifters and a solo star whose plaintive baritone graced such pop and rhythm 'n blues classics as "Stand by Me," ''There Goes My Baby" and "Spanish Harlem," has died.

King died at age 76, publicist Phil Brown told The Associated Press on Friday. Brown did not immediately have other details.

A native of North Carolina, King was singing with the Five Crowns when he and his fellow band members were hired to become the new incarnation of the Drifters, who had several doo-wop hits in the '50s featuring tenor Clyde McPhatter. 

Their records were among the first in the rock era to use strings. The new Drifters had a more polished production and vocal style and quickly became stars in their own right, widely regarded as one of the greatest harmony groups. 

Like many early rock performers, King saw his career fade when the Beatles and other British acts arrived in the mid-1960s.

King co-wrote and sang lead on "There Goes My Baby" and he and the Drifters followed with such hits as "Save the Last Dance for Me" and "This Magic Moment," mostly written by the team of Doc Pomus and Mort Shuman and some of the most romantic and emotional ballads of the early rock era.

His beautiful voice is silent now but he will be missed always when his tunes will be played.

Atif and Shreya celebrated Birthday

Two most loving and extra-ordinary contemporary Bollywood singers, famous in both Indo-Pak, share birthdays as well. Both celebrated their birthdays together on Thursday, March 12.

Apart from sharing the same love for music, singers Atif Aslam and Shreya Ghoshal also share the same birth-dates. The neighboring country singer Shreya and Pakistani singer Atif showed music brought the countries on same path.

The singers have sung several duets. Piya O Re Piya from Tere Naal Love Ho Gaya, Jeene Laga Hu and Rang Jo Lagyo from Ramaiya Vastaavaiya are a few amongst the number of other beautiful songs that they have sung.

Shreya recently got married to beau Shiladitya, celebrated her 31st birthday on Thursday. She posted a picture on the social media of the scrumptious kheer made by her mother. Quite simple way to celebrate birthday as her personality.

On the other hand, Pakistani singer Atif Aslam posted a contact number on Twitter for his fans to call him up to wish him birthday which was more than a gift to his fans. Atif turned 32 this year.

Atif, who is still riding on the success of blockbuster song, Jeena Jeena from Badlapur, was rumored to launch a new album on his birthday. But, there were no updates on that front on Thursday.

Both had lots of good wishes on social media and people from both countries showed them love by twitter trends. They not only share music but birthdays and fans are equally happy to know that they favorite starts are born on same day.

Rahat’s “Shukriya Pakistan” featured real heroes

It’s been a long time when we have heard any new patriotic song. The old patriotic songs sung by Madam Noor jahan, Alamgir, Amjad Hussain, Benjamin sisters, Habib Wali Muhammad, Inayat Hussain Bhatti and many more legendary singers gave warmth to our hearts and feelings of patriotism whenever we hear them.

New singers try to sing patriotic songs but all of them are not that much melodious as compared to the old ones. Proud Singer of Pakistan Rahat Fateh Ali Khan paid a tribute by his new patriotic song “Shukria Pakistan” and featured the real heroes of Pakistan, who suffered and struggled to achieve their goals. Everyone must know what these real heroes belonging to different fields of lives have achieved and Rahat gave them more honor. Our national heroes are no one other than the people who played in sun and rain, represents Pakistan on National and International platform.

The Video of Shukria Pakistan showed Film Actor Shan walking in a dark alley at first and telling about the glory of our country, giving credit to our Country Pakistan. Later on the Street Football Champions showed playing football and Essa khan (former football captain) joined them. The video also features Shahid Khan Afridi the cricket star, Sohail Abbas (Highest goal scorer in History), Naseem Hameed (Fastest Woman South Asia), and Jahangir Khan (Former World Champion Squash).

The rhythm and background score is quite energetic and will stimulate your blood flow. The song is produced by ISPR. Concept and video is directed by Murtaza Chauhdary who did a great job. The song will revive your love more for the country and especially the verses narrated by Shan are touchy.
